Parents please watch your children!

a five year old girl was abducted from in front of her home in california!

it can happen in a split second.

do you know how many times i worried when my children were late?

If people weren't aware of what is going on..this would go out of control! People need to be aware and watch their children. A five year old has no business being out without supervision! Fanatic..maybe. I prefer..cautious! Not to the point of scaring the child to death..but imagine the alternative!

I have a lot of the same feelings! Except I never was a "True Believer". I think that was a contributing factor when I left.

One thing I wondered about though, did they send that girl out alone at 13?.Was anyone accompaning her?

Picky-Ass Christian thrift store

today, i went to drop off some donated items at a christian thrift store.

(nw christian) before i went, i called them to ask what they would accept.

when i got there, the two that unload the free items that i was to donate hemmed and hawed and said, "well i don't know...." now, this wasn't junk, people.

Sometimes I think it hurts too much to see something like that! I often wish I had kept one of my Mom's dresses..but I think it would be too painful.Especially if it was a happy memory. I see home movies with my dad in it and I still bawl. He died in 1987.I find I don't want to look at them anymore. I have a cedar chest that I keep sentimental things in. Can you believe I found my Mom's diary from when she was a teenager! Talk about Crying big time!

We just put most things in a goodwill bag and they just took them..they didn't check them.

I worked in a Bank next to a Goodwill one time. People would leave things in the back by their door. One day someone left a sectional sofa (Nice) . So I went over and told them and asked what they wanted for it. They told me $20.00..I said I want it...fine..I was to pick it up after work.It would be perfect for my son who just moved out on his own.

Well I went back after work to pick it up and it was gone...after much detective work, I found out the girl I talked to had a driver come and pick it up and take it to her apartment! She saw how nice it was and decided she wanted it..I bet she didn't pay for it either! I was steaming!...So now I donate to other charities!

hey make sure you catch david letterman again tonight in his monologue referng to jw's he said something like: "apparently, what they do is they grope you, then hand you a pamphlet" according to a friend that just watched it he made 2 comments about the jw's did any one else see it and if so what did he say?.

Just heard the one from last night! Funny!

He said he just heard there was a sex scandl involving Jehovah's Witnesses...He hoped it wasn't true, because everyone will start avoiding Jehovah's Witnesses.(.then everyone laughed!)

It can happen in a split second. Do you know how many times I worried when my children were late? It wasn't as bad as it is now, but I still imagined the worst. Can you imagine how this mother is feeling..the things she is imagining? The scary part is..they might be true!.

Well I am fond of Crawdad! I knew of him when I first started posting on Tim's boards. He was always playing with another female board member until she turnned on him. She had her friends post mean comments to him and he just lost all his spirit! I saw it as it happened.I talked with him some but it was like he lost all his spirit!

It was one of the meanest things I've seen happen on the boards! (Not this one)

But I was helpless to stop it. I tried to encourage him but it was hopeless.

Then I noticed his posts started to change.It didn't seem like it was him. When I came to this boardI was shocked. I couldn't believe the change in him

If he was posting mean things to someone here..It was because he was hurting himself..Please don't judge him...we all have poblems...even those that are talking about how bad he needs help!

PS....Ever see someone that likes to plant negative things about someone...sit back..let someone else take over ...and then acts like it was all the other peoples idea?

BTW... We ALL hit 666 at one time or other! What does that say about us?
